Unique Newport Beach Engagement Photos on a Sailboat
These Newport Beach engagement photos were an absolute dream to capture!! Lexi loved the idea of having an old, beautiful sailboat incorporated into their engagement session so we of course had to make that happen! How could I not?! Not only was this entire day a dream come true Lexi and Bannock were seriously the sweetest people ever and even sweeter together! The love they had for each other was unreal and was so fun to capture in each photo.
Newport Beach Engagement Photos Location
Being a local Southern California Photographer I was so excited when Lexi and Bannock wanted to have their engagement session in Newport! Aside from taking the most stunning Newport engagement photos on a sailboat we also explored at Newport Beach too! Newport Beach is the perfect location for engagement photos in my opinion! With its stunning beaches, iconic pier, and beautiful sunsets, it's no wonder why couples flock to this area for their special day.
Sailboat Couples Portraits
Lexi and Bannock had a vision of incorporating an old, beautiful sailboat into their engagement photos, and I was more than happy to oblige! The vintage, chic feel of the boat was perfect for them!
The outfits they chose really accentuated the vibe as well. Lexi wore a 1940s sailor-style dress while Bannock sported a classic white sweater and black trousers. We took some amazing shots on the boat before heading down to the Wedge for sunset.
Beach Engagement Photos
After being on a high from taking the most stunning and candid photos of Lexi and Bannock on the sailboat I was excited to head to the Wedge for sunset! Lexi and Bannock were just two peas in a pod! It takes anyone being photographed a minute to warm up to the camera but once they did they were just smitten with each other the entire day!
The Wedge is one of Newport Beach's most iconic spots. It's known for its huge waves that crash against the shoreline, making it a great spot for dramatic engagement photos! We ran around the beach capturing some truly unique shots of Lexi and Bannock in action.
The end result was nothing short of magical! The combination of the sailboat and the Wedge created a stunning backdrop for Lexi and Bannock's engagement photos.
