Jade and Tanners Intimate Family Photography Session
Jade and Tanner's family photography session in San Juan Capistrano was so much fun! As a Southern California wedding and couples photographer, I was thrilled to capture the love and joy of this beautiful family. It was so cute to hear how they met on Bachelor in Paradise, and their sweet personalities shone through in every photo!
Family Portraits
We scheduled the session for April, and the weather was perfect. We had to reschedule several times due to rain, but when we finally got a clear day, the wildflowers were in full bloom and EVERYWHERE, making for a stunning backdrop! The colors were so vibrant and added a touch of magic to the photos!
This was my second time working with Jade and Tanner's family, and it was just as fun as the first. Their kids are so sweet and hilarious, and they made the whole session so "them." I always encourage families to let their kids lead the way during a shoot. It can be hectic, but going off of their craziness can lead to more joy in the photos than trying to make them do something they're not interested in.
Relax and Have Fun!
For anyone planning a family shoot, my biggest tip is to relax and have fun. Don't worry about getting the perfect shot or making everyone look perfect. The best photos are the ones that capture the genuine love and connection between family members. Let your personalities shine through and enjoy the moment! Candid moments are the moments you’ll cherish forever!
Another tip is to plan ahead and coordinate outfits. You don't have to match perfectly, but choosing complementary colors and styles can make a big difference in the overall look of the photos. And don't forget to bring props or items that are meaningful to your family. It could be a favorite book, a special toy, or even a family pet. Jade and Tanner brought the cutest picnic blanket for them to sit on during photos! These little touches can add personality and make the photos even more special.

Overall, Jade and Tanner's family photography session was a blast! Their love for each other and their kids was evident in every photo, and I was honored to capture these special moments for them and don’t get me started on the film shots we got! These were my absolute favorites from the entire day!
